About 360TT

360TT is a Brazilian table tennis company, created in 2005 by Gustavo Auad and headquartered in Belo Horizonte (Minas Gerais), with a branch in Guarulhos (São Paulo). We make our own products and are the official distributor of DHS and Sauer & Tröger in Brazil. We work with players, clubs, associations, municipal governments, coaches and resellers, and with anyone or any company that lives and breathes table tennis. We are passionate about the sport, and that drives us.

Our story

  • 2005: SpinTech is born, with one question: how does the equipment of our sport really work?
  • 2006: we launch Evo 1 (Evolution One), Brazil’s first booster and the world’s second, after Japan’s Ecolo Expander. Its development was discussed publicly on the Mesatenista forum (in Portuguese). That same year, we published an article explaining how speed glue really works.
  • 2006–2008: we test a prototype of a water-based glue. In 2008, the ITTF bans speed glue and boosters in competition, and we pause production and development.
  • 2015: we return to the sport and find a different landscape: wide-pore sponge rubbers, the new plastic ball, which was replacing celluloid, and the strong influence of the Chinese school. A study begins that continues to this day.
  • 2017: SpinTech becomes 360TT. The name marks a full circle and the wish to look after the whole sport: equipment, training and knowledge.
  • 2022: we open the 360TT Academy in Belo Horizonte.
  • 2023: with our partner joining us, we open the Guarulhos branch and start distributing DHS in Brazil.
  • 2024: we also become official distributors of Sauer & Tröger.

Why the blog exists

The goal is to demystify table tennis. What you see in a match is the tip of the iceberg. Here we show what lies beneath: equipment, technique, training, tactics and opinion, in accessible language and with real technical content.

Three principles guide what we write:

  • Rigor: we explain the why, with data and no mystery.
  • Honesty: equipment helps, but the game is built in training.
  • Respect and admiration: a beginner deserves the same attention as a champion, and we admire anyone who dedicates themselves to the sport, at any level.

We know many players use boosters, and we know what the rules say. So we explain both sides: what each product does and where it can or cannot be used.
